Nokia X5 with Duel Camera setup Launched:Check out for its Specs, Features and more

HMD Global brand Nokia has launched its latest smartphone Nokia X5 in China. This phone is the second smartphone in the Nokia X-series, after Nokia X6 which was launched earlier this year. The Nokia X5 has a double-sided glass body with a polycarbonate frame. There’s a display notch in the front with a slight chin at the bottom of the display with the Nokia logo. This smartphone also comes with a dual rear camera setup stacked vertically and runs on pure Android 8.1 Oreo operating system.

The Nokia X5 will go on sale currently in China on July 19. Unlike the Nokia X6 that was launched as the first Nokia X-Series model in China, the Nokia X5 is considered to debut worldwide. You can register it on Suning.com, which has already begun. This smartphone will be available in Night Black, Baltic Sea Blue, and Glacier White colour options.

The Nokia X5 sports a 5.86-inch HD+ (720×1520 pixels) display with 19:9 aspect ratio, 84 percent screen-to-body ratio and 2.5D glass protection. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio P60 octa-core SoC (4x Cortex-A73 at 2.0GHz + 4x Coretx-A53 at 2.0GHz, 1xVPU), coupled with 3GB/4GB RAM variants. This handset packs two internal storage options depending on the RAM variant such as 32GB/64GB, which can be further expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. This dual-SIM support device runs on pure Android 8.1 Oreo, and HMD Global promises monthly patches and fast Android updates.

Coming to the camera department, the Nokia X5 features a duel rear camera setup, that includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. This duel camera setup has an LED flash sitting below the two sensors at the back. Up front, it features an 8-megapixel sensor with 80.4-degree angle of view. It comes with features like AI image technology, built-in portrait background blur, portrait skin mode, HDR mode and other functions.

In terms of connectivity options, this handset includes a Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, FM radio, Dual 4G Dual VoLTE, USB Type-C port and 3.5mm audio jack. Sensors onboard include ambient light sensor, accelerometer, digital compass, gyroscope, and proximity sensor. Speaking of security, it features a fingerprint sensor on the rear side of the phone. The Nokia X5 is fuelled by a 3060mAh battery, which the company claims to offer up to 27 hours of life time.
