The social media giant, Facebook is testing a feature that allows the users to share their Instagram stories as WhatsApp status. This feature is currently under works and is available only to few select users. However, the rollout of this feature hasn’t been decided yet.
If you are an Instagram user, you should know that the app already lets you share the Instagram stories as Facebook stories. Very soon, you will be able to share the Instagram stories on WhatsApp as well. This new feature will let Instagram users post decorated photos, videos, and GIFs on their WhatsApp Status. However, much like the Instagram stories, the WhatsApp status will also disappear after 24 hours.
This feature of Facebook, which is somewhat similar to the feature of their rival app Snapchat, now increased users almost twice that of Snapchat, which is around 173 million daily active users. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg recently announced that both Instagram Stories and WhatsApp Status have around 300 million daily active users currently and this number will only go up in coming days.
