Xiaomi Mi 5X Launched: Specs, Features, Price & Availability you Need to Know

Xiaomi Mi 5X have been launched in China. It is said to be a mini version of the company’s flagship Mi 6 phone. The Xiaomi Mi 5X comes with a metal unibody design with rounded edges and anti-fingerprint coating. The Mi 5X has a similarity with Mi 6, it comes with a dual camera setup, where one lens is wide-angle while the other is telephoto, which can give professional bokeh effects in portraits.

The Mi 5X is powered by a 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor bundled with Adreno 506GPU. This mobile feature a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) LTPS display and will run on MIUI 9 based on Android 7.0 Nougat.

About the cameras, the Xiaomi Mi 5X features a dual rear camera setup that is a 12-megapixel wide-angle and a 12-megapixel telephoto,similar to the Xiaomi Mi 6. It comes with a Portrait Mode for bokeh effects, these feature is similar like on iPhone 7 Plus and the OnePlus 5. It bears a 5-megapixel front camera with real-time beautification.The Mi 5X comes 4GB RAM with 64GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB but by a hybrid micro-SD card slot.The Xiaomi Mi 5X also comes with a high-quality audio output with DHS Audio Calibration Algorithm and a standalone audio amplifier for improved quality while using headphones. Xiaomi5Xcomes with a 3080mAh battery, measures 155.4×75.8×7.3mm, and weighs 165grams.The dual-SIM of Mi 5X supports 4G LTE connectivity and USB Type-C for charging and data syncing.

About the cost of the phone, Mi 5X is exclusive to China for now and will cost RMB 1,499 which roughly is Indian Rupees is Rs 14,285.75. It will be available in three colours: Black, Gold and Rose Gold and will go on sale for the first time on August 1.
