Welcome To New York movie trailer is finally out and looks like it is going to be a laugh riot. This film is directed by Chakri Toleti and produced by Vashu Bhagnani through Pooja Entertainment. Welcome to New York features Sonakshi Sinha, Diljit Dosanjh, Lara Dutta, Boman Irani, Karan Johar, Riteish Deshmukh, Rana and others.

The two-and-half-minute-long trailer opens with Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh as Gabru hero delivering an iconic dialogue from Sholay, “Kitne aadmi the?” then comes Sonakshi Sinha as Dhinchak designer who is trying hard to make sense of the world around her. After that, we are introduced to Karan Johar and Riteish Deshmukh, where Riteish challenges KJo to make a movie with him instead of Shah Rukh Khan. Bollywood actors like Sushant Singh Rajput are seen In the trailer, where he is mistaken as MS Dhoni by Diljit and Baahubali fame Rana Daggubati also make an appearance by an action scene and later carrying Kjo on his arms. The trailer also uses footage of actual IIFA awards held in New York last year, which looks like it might form a background for the film.

Director of this film Chakri Toleti said in a statement, “We have an extraordinary cast in our film, but the beauty is how they complement each other. It was a pleasure working with such talented actors, especially in comedy, timing is everything.”

The trailer was launched by Bhai, Salman Khan. The star took to Twitter to post the trailer with a caption that read, “Ho gaya tum sab ka? Ye raha #WTNYTrailer…….

Welcome To New York, will be Chakri Toleti’s Hindi film debut as director. He has directed Kamal Haasan in Tamil remake of A Wednesday, titled Unnaipol Oruvan and also directed the Telugu version, named Eeenadu. Chakri has also made Billa II with Ajith Kumar.

Welcome To New York is set to hit the theatres worldwide on Feb 23 and is rumoured to be as India’s first 3D comedy film.
