Stree Teaser Out: The Rajkummar & Shraddha starrer film looks spooky and interesting

Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao has shared the first look and a teaser video of his upcoming film titled Stree. This film is said to be a horror comedy, directed by Amar Kaushik. Shraddha Kapoor is the female lead in this film. The teaser looks spooky and interesting.

The lead actors took to their twitter accounts to share the teaser. Rajkummar Rao tweeted, “Stree ke baare mein zyada nahi jaanta hoon, bas sab kehte hain aa rahi hai woh.” While, Shraddha Kapoor tweeted, “31st August, raat ke andhere mein koi tumhe dhoondne aa raha hai. Dekho kaun hai.”

The 59 sec long spooky teaser takes the us to an abandoned semi-urban area. Starts with a voice that resonates in the background that shouts to a woman saying come tomorrow, there are no men here. The camera slowly takes you through the lanes of the area at night. You can also see ‘O Stree Kal Aana’ (A women come tomorrow) written on the walls of the houses in this deserted area. Towards the end of the video, the camera zooms out and you will find a woman’s feet hanging in the air.

Stree, directed by Amar Kaushik and written by Raj and DK. This flick is produced by Dinesh Vijan under his company Maddock Films. Starring Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Banerjee. The music has been composed by Sachin-Jigar. This film has been shot at a small town named Chanderi near Bhopal. Stree is scheduled to hit theatres on August 31.

On work front, Shraddha is currently working on two other films, such as Shahid Kapoor starrer Batti Gul Meter Chaalu and Prabhas starrer Saaho.
