Samsung Galaxy J4+ & J6+ with Infinity Displays Launched

Samsung Mobiles announced the launch of two new smartphones in its mid-range segment, the Galaxy J4+ and Galaxy J6+. Both these smartphones sport large 6-inch HD+ Infinity Displays. They also come with 3,300mAh battery’s, Android 8.1 Oreo, and dual-SIM support. Additionally, the Galaxy J6+ exclusively sports a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and dual rear cameras. However, the launch and price of both Samsung Galaxy J4+ and J6+ in India have not been announced yet, but an update is expected in the following days.

Let us look into the specifications of these new smartphones by Samsung:

Samsung Galaxy J4+:

The Galaxy J4+ sports a 6-inch HD+ (720×1480 pixels) Infinity Display with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by an unnamed quad-core SoC clocked at 1.4GHz, coupled with 2GB/3GB of RAM and packs 16GB/32GB of internal storage. This duel-SIM support device runs Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box.

Coming to the camera department, the Galaxy J4+ features a single 13-megapixel rear camera sensor with an LED flash. Up front, it features a 5-megapixel selfie camera.

In terms of connectivity options, this handset includes 4G VoLTE, single-band Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, GLONASS, NFC (depending on region), and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors onboard include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor. The Galaxy J4+ is fuelled by a 3,300mAh battery. However, support for fast charging has not been revealed.

Samsung Galaxy J6+:

The Galaxy J6+ sports the same 6-inch HD+ (720×1480 pixels) Infinity Display with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a quad-core SoC, clocked at 1.4GHz (It is yet unknown whether it is the same one as the one powering the Galaxy J4+). It also comes with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/ 64GB internal storage. This duel-SIM support device runs Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box.

Coming to the camera department, this handset features a dual rear camera setup with a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. Up front, it features a 8-megapixel selfie camera.
