The wait is coming to an end. Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s much-awaited 25th movie, Agnyaathavaasi which is also known as PSPK 25, will hit the theatres worldwide in few hours. The massive advance bookings are showing a record breaking opening day for the movie in both the Telugu states and in overseas. This is a big-budget movie and its theatrical rights were sold at very high prices. So, the distributors are planning for all the possible ways to recover their investments on its opening days. They had planned grand premieres all over the Telugu states.
However, there is bad news and good news for Pawan fans in Telangana. As per reports, the Telangana government has denied permission for the movie’s midnight premieres across the state. Which means the police have denied permission to premier the shows between 1 am to 8 am on January 10, because it might lead to stampedes in several regions.
But, the Telangana government has granted permission for one extra show per day, in addition to the four regular shows which must be screened at 8 am every day from January 10 to 17. This might give a boost to Agnyaathavaasi at the Telangana box office, because it gets an extra show to the four regular shows each day. On the other hand, Pawan fans in Andhra Pradesh don’t have to worry because Agnyaathavaasi will premier with midnight shows starting from 1 am tonight.
Agnyaathavaasi starring Pawan Kalyan, Keerthy Suresh and Anu Emmanuel in lead roles. Directed by Trivikram Srinivas and featuring music by Anirudh Ravichander, the film is one of the most-awaited ones this year. Pawan Kalyan and director Trivikram Srinivas are a deadly combo, this is the third outing by both. Previous films by them, such as the 2008 Jalsa and the 2013 Attarintiki Daredi were massive hits.
