After the huge success of SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali series, looks like there is no turning back for actor Prabhas. The Telugu superstar, who has become a star to even the non-Telugu movie audience. After the magnum opus, all his fans are expecting for his next release Saaho which is also being made at a gargantuan budget of Rs 300 cr. But, looks like before Saaho he will be seen in a Hindi-Telugu bilingual film directed by Radha Krishna Kumar.

Currently, Prabhas is busy shooting for Saaho in UAE. Team Saaho is shooting a high-octane action sequence in UAE under the supervision of Kenny Bates of Transformers fame. In Sahoo, you will see well-known Hindi actors like Shraddha Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Mandira Bedi playing pivotal roles in the film.
The yet untitled film of Prabhas is a periodic romantic drama, directed by Radha Krishna Kumar. UV Creations will be bankrolling this fictional period film which is said to be predominantly shot in Europe and the story is set in the pre-Independence era. Prabhas is said to be playing the role of a palm reader in the film and of course, there will be multiple action sequences to please the fans of the actor. Pooja Hegde will be playing the romantic interest of Prabhas in this film and the actress will also have intense action sequence and dance numbers along with Prabhas in the film. Director Radha Krishna Kumar is also in talks with few other leading actors in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi to break the language barriers.
While speaking about the movie with the media, Pooja said, “The most challenging character in my career would be the upcoming film with Prabhas”.
As per the reports, Prabhas and Pooja will be in Mumbai to take part in a workshop as a prep for the period saga. While Pooja will attend the workshop early and start shooting by June-end. Prabhas on the other hand will join by early July, as he would by then have wrapped the shooting of Saaho.
If reports are to be believed, Prabhas’ yet untitled periodic romantic drama might release on Sankranthi 2019. This film might be the actors’ first release after Baahubali because Saaho is expected to come out by Summer 2019.
