HMD Global brand Nokia has officially launched its new smartphone Nokia X6 in China with a 19:9 aspect ratio display with a notch on top. This smartphone is the first from the Nokia brand to sport a display notch. This new smartphone also includes a dual rear camera setup with AI and HDR features. Other highlights of this new Nokia X6 include the modern octa-core Snapdragon 636 SoC, up to 6GB of RAM, a 16-megapixel front camera, Quick Charge 3.0, as well as the presence of Android 8.1 Oreo with Do Not Disturb mode for gaming.

Let us take a look at the specifications of this new smartphone by Nokia:
The Nokia X6 sports a 5.8-inch full-HD+ (1080×2280 pixels) display with 2.5D Gorilla Glass 3 for protection. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 636 SoC, coupled with 4GB/6GB of RAM. This new smartphone packs 32GB/64GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. This dual-SIM (Nano) support phone runs Android 8.1 Oreo. Coming to the camera part, the Nokia X6 features a dual rear camera setup with a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary monochrome sensor with 1-micron pixels. Up front, it offers a 16-megapixel camera with 1-micron pixel sensor. The company claims that it has the presence of AI features such as optimised colour contrast, depth of field and portrait lighting effects, face recognition, as well as HDR support for improved photography. It also offers the Bothie feature, which lets the users utilise both front and rear cameras simultaneously.
In terms of connectivity options, it includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors on board include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, gyroscope, and proximity sensor. It features a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel. It also supports Face Unlock. The Nokia X6 is fuelled by a 3060mAh battery coupled with an 18W Quick Charge 3.0.
Now, let us take look at the price and availability of this new smartphone:
The Nokia X6 4GB RAM and 32GB storage variant is priced at CNY 1,299 (roughly Rs. 13,800). While, the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant is priced at CNY 1,499 (roughly Rs. 16,000). On the other hand, the 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant is priced at CNY 1,699 (roughly Rs. 18,100). However, the Nokia X6 is currently limited to China market and HMD Global has not yet announced if the Nokia X6 will make it to the Indian market or not. This latest smartphone will be available on JD.com, Suning.com, and Tmall.com but exact availability is still not known.
