Nokia 6 review: The smartphone with good design & a premium look under Rs 15,000

All the Nokia lovers out there, Nokia is back.The iconic company’s comeback into the smartphone market has mostly revolved around three key factors such as nostalgia, stock Android and a strong focus on build quality and design. HMD Global, which is now making Nokia brand phones including the latest one, hopes that these three characteristics are enough to help the Nokia 6 compete with devices in its budget range. Actually, Nokia phones came back last year, but only in China. The Nokia 6 is finally going on sale in India via Amazon India from August 23. Nokia 6 smartphone comes with a load of expectations around it. Although, the Nokia 3 arrived earlier in India in June. And then just a couple of weeks ago, the Nokia 5 went on sale in offline stores. But the Nokia 6 is the flag-bearer right now. It is the “premium” Nokia phone, the one in which the company has put its heart and soul.

Talking about the specifications of the phone, Nokia 6 runs with Qualcomm Snapdragon 430, comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage which is expandableupto 128GBby using a micro SD card via hybrid SIM slot. The phones display sports a 5.5-inch IPS LCD (1920 x 1080 pixels), the camera department comes with 16MP rear camera and a 8MP front facing camera. As of the connectivity is concerned It supports 4G with VoLTE, WiFi n, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, FM, A-GPS and the device is powered by a 3,000mAh battery.

The Nokia 6 is simply one of the best looking and best built phone under Rs 15,000 budget and few other high-end phones. Crafted from a single block of aluminium, the Nokia 6, with its elegantly integrated antenna lines, chamfered edges and slightly curved back, and subtle Nokia branding makes it look very classy.The front of the device is an all-glass affair covered by Gorilla Glass 3, which houses the 5.5-inch display and the backlit capacitive keys. The volume rocker and power buttons are made out of metal with chamfered edges, which adds to the premium experience.There is a fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button. The loudspeakeris located in the bottom and it is crisp, clear and doesn’t distort even at the highest volume.
