The Nokia brand backed by HMD Global, the Finnish company made a comeback into the mobile market. Nokia has launched a new variant of Nokia 6 in India with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Previously, the Nokia 6 was launched last year along with the Nokia 3 and Nokia 5 and comes with a sleek metal design, stock Android, stellar build quality and the promise of timely software updates. The smartphone was only available in one variant that is 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Aside from the increase in RAM and internal storage, the rest of the specifications of this new variant are similar.

The new Nokia 6 model is almost similar to that of the previous model (except the RAM and storage). The new Nokia 6 sports a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920pixels) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC and comes with 4GB of RAM. This new variant comes with 64GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. The new dual-SIM Nokia 6 variant runs a pure version of Android 7.1.1 Nougat. Coming to the camera department, the new Nokia 6 also features a 16-megapixel rear camera with PDAF, a 1-micron pixel sensor, and dual-tone LED flash. It has an 8-megapixel autofocus camera up front with an 84-degree wide-angle lens. Speaking about Connectivity options on the Nokia 6 include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, NFC, Micro-USB with OTG, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Meanwhile, sensors on board include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor. It features an aluminium unibody design, dual speakers with Dolby Atmos audio.

The current Nokia 6 with 3GB variant is available exclusively via Amazon India, the Nokia 6 with 4GB of RAM is set to go on sale via Flipkart from Feb 20. The new Nokia 6 with 4GB Ram has been priced at Rs 16,999, which is 2,000 rupees more than the current Nokia 6 variant that was priced at Rs 14,999. However, Nokia 6 will be available in only one colour that is Matte Black. If you are Interested in buying this new Nokia 6 variant, you can register for updates on Flipkart from Feb 15. As a launch offer, Flipkart is offering Rs 2,000 off on exchange of any old smartphone for this new Nokia 6 4GB variant.
