Nokia 3310 4G with Android-based YunOS launched

The Nokia 3310 4G variant has been officially launched in China. HMD Global company’s Nokia brand, has listed this new 4G variant of Nokia 3310 on the official Nokia site and in order to make the new model available in the country, company has partnered with China Mobile. Perhaps the biggest highlight of the phone might be that it supports 4G VoLTE connectivity. But, it also boasts advanced features such as Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Hotspot.

Nokia 3310 4G variant sports a 2.4-inch display with a resolution of 320 x 240. This new Nokia 3310 4G variant comes with YunOS, which is a forked Android version built by China’s Alibaba, based on Android Open Source Project (AOSP). That means the phone is technically capable of running apps like WhatsApp, Facebook Lite, and YouTube, among others. it comes with 256GB RAM and 512MB storage, which is expandable up to 64GB by using a microSD card.

Coming to the camera department, it gets a 2MP rear camera with an LED flash. The connectivity options on the Nokia 3310 4G include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, Micro-USB, FM Radio, MP3 player, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone is fuelled by a 1200mAh battery that claims to offer 5 hours of talk time on 4G VoLTE network and 16 hours of music playback on a single charge.

Regarding the Price and global availability of this new Nokia 3310 variant, is most likely to be announced at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 in Barcelona, Spain, next month. Nokia 3310 4G will be available in two colour options such as Fresh Black and Deep Black.
