Moto Z2 Force to Launch in India on Feb 15: Check out for the Specs, Features, Price & More

Lenovo-owned Motorola is ready to launch a new flagship smartphone in India, which is the Moto Z2 Force. The Moto Z2 Force was earlier launched in July 2017 in the US market. Now, Motorola is finally bringing this smartphone to India. As per reports, the company has sent out invites confirming the Moto Z2 Force launch in India on Feb 15. The event is said to be streamed live on Motorola’s YouTube channel.

According to the reports, the Moto Z2 Force is said to include the Moto TurboPower pack with the biggest battery life, a shatterproof screen and an ultra-fast processor. However, the company hasn’t mentioned any details about the price and availability of Moto Z2 Force in India.

Now, let us take a look at the specifications of this new smartphone by Motorola,

The Moto Z2 Force features a 5.5-inch QHD (1440×2560 pixels) ShatterShield POLED display. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, paired with 4GB and 6GB RAM options. The phone comes with 64GB and 128GB internal storage variants that both are further expandable up to 2TB via microSD card. This new phone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box.

Coming to the camera department, there is a dual camera setup on the rear side with two 12-megapixel Sony IMX386 image sensors. While one sensor captures RGB images, the other one is a monochrome sensor. Both have PDAF, laser autofocus, and a CCT dual-LED flash. Also, up front there is a 5-megapixel camera sensor with an 85-degree wide angle lens, and an LED flash. In terms of connectivity, the Duel SIM phone has a 4G LTE support, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.2, NFC, GPS/ A-GPS, and USB Type-C. The device sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, barometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor. The handset is fuelled by a 2730mAh battery that supports a 15W TurboPower charger.

The Moto Z2 Force is designed with a 7000-series aluminium build that has a unibody design. There is also a water-repellent nano-coating, and the back of the smartphone comes with pogo pin connectors to establish connectivity with different Moto Mods.
