Motorola is expected to launch an upgraded variant of its mid-range smartphone Moto X4 in India on February 1. The upgraded Moto X4 will be made available with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. As of now, the Moto X4 is available in two variants in India such as 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage. This new Moto X4 with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. This variant might have Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box, as other variants of the Moto X4 have started receiving the update since last month. We can also expect that the phone could feature an upgraded chipset and house a newer mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, apart from boosting the RAM. Improvements in the camera specs can also be expected. The new Moto X4 is expected to go on sale with the current two variants starting next month.

Motorola India, in its tweet on the official Twitter handle has said, “Strap in to soon experience speed like you wouldn’t believe. We’ve reconstructed perfection to give you the all new #MotoX4 that just got that much faster, smarter and sharper. And is still as stunning as ever. Arriving on 1st February.”

The Moto X4 sports a 5.2-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) LTPS IPS display. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC, coupled with 3/4GB (6GB for upgraded version) of RAM and 32/64GB of internal storage. Coming to the camera, the Moto X4 features a dual rear camera setup with a 12-megapixel primary sensor and a 8-megapixel ultra-wide secondary sensor. Upfront it has a 16-megapixel sensor. The smartphone is fuelled by a 3000mAh non-removable battery. It also has a fingerprint sensor, on the home button under the display.
