LG V30+ With Dual Rear Cameras Launched in India: Check out the Specs, Features & More

LG V30+, a high-end flagship phone by LG is launched in India. V30+ is a successor to the V20, some of the highlights of this smartphone are its large FullVision display and dual rear cameras, as well as bundled B&O Play earphones. The V30+ is a dust and water resistant, with IP68 certification, also a shock resistant with a MIL-STD-810G rating. It sports a face unlocking feature as well as a Floating Bar interface, which replaces the secondary ticker display seen on previous V-Series models, and also has an Always-On Display feature. The LG V30+ display also has HDR10 support, which makes it one of the few phones currently available with this feature.

Now, let us take a closer look at LG’s new V30+.

LG V30+ sports a 6-inch QHD+ (1440×2880 pixels) FullVision OLED display with a pixel density of 638ppi and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection. As we already mentioned, it supports the HDR10 standard. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, with four cores clocked at 2.45GHz and four cores clocked at 1.9GHz, coupled with 4GB of RAM. It has a 128GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 2TB via microSD card in a hybrid dual-SIM configuration.

LG V30+ runs on Android 7.1.2 with the LG UX 6.0 skin on top. Coming to the camera section. LG V30+ comes with a dual rear camera setup, with a 16-megapixel and a 13-megapixel sensor. The rear camera setup has a laser autofocus, apart from dual-LED flash, and is covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 4 for protection. Up front, it has a 5-megapixel sensor with a 90-degree wide-angle lens. Coming to the connectivity options, LG V30+ includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, NFC, USB Type-C (v3.1), GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors on board include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, gyroscope, and proximity sensor. This new Smartphone is fuelled by a 3300mAh battery. It has a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel.

The LG V30+ in India is been priced at Rs. 44,990. It will go on sale from Monday, December 18 exclusively via Amazon India. Pre-bookings will open from December 14. The LG V30+ will be available in Aurora Black and Cloud silver colour variants in India. As per reports other colour variants are said to arrive at a later date.
