Here’s the first look poster of Parineeti Chopra and Sidharth Malhotra’s film Jabariya Jodi is out. Both Parineeti and Sidharth are currently shooting for this film. Jabariya Jodi will reunite the hit jodi who were last seen in 2014 released film Hasee Toh Phasee. As per reports, this upcoming film is based on pakadwa vivah, which is prevalent in parts of India. Pakadwa vivah is a practice in which the groom is kidnapped by the bride’s family and forced into marriage. Previously, before the official title announcement, this upcoming film was titled as Shotgun Shaadi.

Both the lead actors, Parineeti and Sidharth shared these first look posters on their official social media handles. Both the actors shared their posters and introduced to their characters in the film as Abhay and Babli.
Coming to the posters, in one of the posters shared, Sid is seen dressed in a yellow shirt with ripped denim styled with an embellished maroon half jacket, red scarf and brown boots. Meanwhile, standing opposite to him is Parineeti Chopra who can be seen channelling a glam look in a red and blue crop top paired with black palazzo and black leather jacket. Notably, what will grab your attention is while both the actors are seen gazing at each other, you can find a groom lying on the chair unconscious.
Jabariya Jodi is directed by Prashant Singh and produced by Balaji Motion Pictures and Karma Media Entertainment Starring Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra in the lead roles.
