Huawei Y9 (2018) with Duel Front & Rear Cameras Launched

The Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer announces a new budget phone called the Huawei Y9 (2018). This came ahead of its P20 line-up smartphones launch, which include the Huawei P20, P20 Lite, and P20 Pro. This new Y9 (2018) smartphone looks pretty much identical in terms of specs with the previously launched Huawei Mate 10 Lite and Honor 9i. The price and availability details of this new smartphone is yet to be revealed. However, if rumours are to be believed then this new Huawei handset will be priced at EUR 200 (roughly Rs. 16,000). Currently, this new smartphone is available only in Thailand. There is no word if this device will make it to other markets or not. The new Huawei Y9 (2018) edition smartphone comes in three colour variants such as Black, Blue and Gold.

Now, let us take a look into the specifications of this new smartphone by Huawei.

This new Huawei Y9 (2018) edition features a 5.93-inch FullView display with full HD+ resolution of 1080×2160 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio. This smartphone is powered by a Kirin 659 SoC along with eight processing cores at a clock-speed of 2.3GHz, paired with 3GB of RAM. The Huawei Y9 (2018) edition has a 32GB of internal storage that is further expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. This latest dual SIM smartphone support and runs Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box with EMUI 8.0 on top.

Coming to the camera department, the new Huawei Y9 (2018) comes with dual cameras on both front and back panel. On the rear side, the smartphone includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor along with an LED flash. Up front, this new Huawei Y9 (2018) includes two cameras, where the primary camera includes a 16-megapixel sensor and the secondary sensor comes with a 2-megapixel sensor. In terms of connectivity, this new smartphone comes with regular options such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. This new Huawei Y9 (2018) edition also includes a rear-facing fingerprint sensor and it is fuelled by a massive 4000mAh battery.
