Gionee has announced the launch of the Gionee A1 Plus smartphone in India on Tuesday. The phone was first announced at MWC 2017, its smaller smaller version isGionee A1 which was launched in India after March before going on sale in the country in the next few months via offline retail stores and Amazon India. Like the A1, the A1 Plus will be available to buy via offline retail stores in India. Its retail availability is said to start from Wednesday, July 26, but the company has not said anything about the smartphone’s availability to buy over online stores later.

The Gionee A1 and Gionee A1 Plus were the starting models in the Gionee’s new A-Series, which featured two USPs such as big batteries and a superior front facing camera. The company is also also tryingto bundle 18W ultrafast charger that can charge the battery fully in just 2 hours. A highlight of the Gionee A1 Plus over A1 is the use of dual rear cameras. The company in India is also offering a 2-year extended warranty with the A1 Plus.
Camera is one of the better aspect of this phone. The A1 Plus comes with a dual-camera setup. It has a 13-megapixel autofocus camera and a 5-megapixel fixed focus secondary shooter on the rear face of the phone, with a true tone dual-LED flash. The front facing camera comes with a 20-megapixel fixed focus camera with a selfie flash.
The biggest difference between the A1 and the A1 Plus is the screen, while A1 comes with 5.5-inch screen and the A1 Plus comes with 6.0-inch. Gionee has used a huge quantity of metal in making the phone that makes us feel confident that the A1 Plus can survive an accidental fall without getting damaged.6.0-inch Gionee A1 Plus comes with full HD (1920x1080p) resolution display with Split Screen feature, which helps in fully utilising the big screen for multitasking. The device comes with fast charging technology where the phone can get fully charged in around 90 minutes.
The Gionee A1 Plus ia available in India at a price ofRs. 26,999, it will be available to buy via offline retail stores in the country. The A1 Plus variant that is available in India is the 4GB RAM/ 64GB inbuilt storage variant. It will be made available in Mocha Gold and Black colour variants.
