Finally, the much-awaited trailer of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer Fanney Khan is out and it is every bit exciting and quirky. The trailer shows us Anil Kapoor as a middle-class family man named Fanney Khan, who is determined to make an album for his daughter. In order to make his daughter Lata live her dream of becoming a singer, Anil is ready to go to any lengths. Meanwhile, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who is a singing sensation named Baby Singh and Rajkummar Rao is a fan of Baby who eventually falls in love with her.
Fanney Khan is an official remake of Belgian film Everybody’s Famous, which nominated for the Best Foreign Language Film Oscar in 2001.

The 3 min long trailer opens with Anil Kapoor as ‘orchestra ke fankaar’ Fanney Khan of the 90s. Immediately after that we are taken to tougher times in 2018. Now, we are introduced to Anil’s daughter Lata who is not interested to sing the “sau saal puraane gaane” of her father’s choice. Instead as she sings “Sheila Ki Jawaani”, she is fat shamed by her peers from the audience. After that incident Fanney Khan decides to make an album for his daughter. But then comes the big question? where will he get the money for the album? Meanwhile, Aishwarya is introduced as a popstar. So, Anil makes a plan to kidnap Aishwarya with the help of Rajkummar Rao. What happens next, we should wait for the movie to come on big screen.
