Captain Marvel Movie: Will Bring A Big Character Back To Marvels

After Marvel’s Spider-Man: Homecoming, there are a bunch of movies going on in the MCU right now, Such as Thor: Ragnarok, Avengers: Infinity War, Ant-Man & The Wasp, and Avengers 4. As it was announced that Brie Larson would star in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) as Captain Marvel the first female-led solo film. Captain Marvel is expected to debut in Avengers Infinity War next year before her own movie which is said to come in 2019. Earlier this week a rumour came out that Jackson’s Nick Fury would appear opposite Larson in Captain Marvel. Now it is confirmed by a popular online site that the Avengers recruiter will be back for at least a cameo.

According to the article, Marvel Studios has not officially confirmed about the rumours, but fans are not surprised about Fury’s comeback. The character was last seen in Avengers: Age of Ultron back in 2015. The former SHIELD director helped the Avengers during the Sokovia incident, but Fury was back underground by the time Captain America: Civil War rolled up. Fans at first expected that Nick Fury might make a full-on MCU comeback with Captain Marvel last week, as Omega Underground reported the actor would be heading to Atlanta to film for Marvel Studios at the start of January.

The tweet said, “Looks like [Samuel Jackson] will indeed be co-starring with [Brie Larson] in Captain Marvel, expected to begin shooting on January 8th in ATL.” Samuel Jackson even mentioned to be involved in the movie by saying I’m always open and game. But they got Infinity Wars, two movies to do there, and after that there’s Larson’s movie Captain Marvel, which maybe Nick will be part of.

Upcoming Marvel movies after Spider-Man: Homecoming is said to be Thor: Ragnarok on November 3, 2017. After that Black Panther on February 16, 2018, while Avengers: Infinity War might hit theatres on May 4, 2018. Ant-Man and the Wasp is said to hit by July 6, 2018, followed by Captain Marvel on March 8, 2019. As per reports Marvel brought on directors Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck of Half Nelson and Mississippi Grind to oversee the film. With directors in place and a lead star already cast, Marvel lovers more filming updates should soon be released.
