Bharat: Priyanka Chopra making a comeback with Salman Khan’s Upcoming Big Budget film

All you Superstar Salman Khan fans, here’s a good news for you. Bhaijan has started shooting for his most awaited upcoming film Bharat. Director Ali Abbas Zafar has recently teased fans with a pic in which the actor is standing. However, his face is hidden. Ali took to Twitter and wrote, “And it begins “Bharat”  @BeingSalmanKhan . A journey of a man and a nation together . Eid 2019.”

There were speculations about Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif being considered to play the female lead in the movie. it was recently confirmed that Priyanka would return to Bollywood after two years, with Salman Khan’s Bharat.

Priyanka has established herself not just as a brilliant actress in Bollywood, but in Hollywood as well. Apart from having few Hollywood films in the pipeline, the actress is also the star of her own TV show, Quantico. Priyanka, who has given wonderful performances in films such as Bajirao Mastani, Mary Kom, and Jai Gangaajal, has been dropping hints about her Bollywood comeback, and everyone was waiting for the announcement. There were rumours about her Bollywood comeback and three films that were said to be her comeback films which includes Bharat, Kalpana Chawla biopic or Rakesh Sharma’s biopic.

Now, Priyanka Chopra expressed her excitement on this new project. She told PTI, “I’m looking forward to begin shooting this film and working with Salman and Ali again after a considerable time. I’ve learnt a lot from them in our previous collaborations and am excited to see what this one has to offer.”

More than this, Priyanka is not just playing a female role in the film. She plays a strong pivotal role, who actually steers the film, as well. Director of the film Ali Abbas Zafar said, “Bharat is a mature, subtle love story and her character is the soul of the film. She stands shoulder-to-shoulder with Salman in his journey and is the catalyst who triggers what will be a turning point in the plot”.

Bharat is a Hindi adaption of 2004 Korean drama, Ode to My Father. Bharat covers several landmark events, including Partition. It is said to be spanning 70 years of history. Interestingly, Salman will be sporting five different looks in the film. The film will be shot in Abu Dhabi, Spain, besides Punjab and Delhi in India.

Bharat, Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar who has done Box-Office hits like Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai with Salman Khan. The music of the film will be composed by Vishal and Shekhar. Bharat is scheduled to release on Eid, 2019.

On the other hand, Salman is also occupied with the shooting for his upcoming film Race 3. The movie is the third instalment of Race franchise and is directed by Remo D’Souza. It also features Jacqueline Fernandez, Daisy Shah, Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor in pivotal roles.
