Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2, Max M2 with large display, Large battery Launched in India

Asus has launched its latest smartphones in ZenFone series, ZenFone Max Pro M2 and ZenFone Max M2 in India. Both these smartphones were earlier launched in Russia last week. Both these smartphones have some similarities which include a large display with notch, dual rear camera setup and large batteries. While the ZenFone Max Pro M2 (ZB630KL) is powered by a Snapdragon 660 SoC, the ZenFone Max M2 (ZB632KL) is powered by a Snapdragon 632 SoC. Both these smartphones also have front LED flash modules, run stock Android 8.1 Oreo (with a promised update to Android 9.0 Pie in January 2019), and feature dedicated microSD card slots.

Let us take a look at the specifications of these latest smartphones by Asus:

Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2:

The Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 sports a 6.26-inch full-HD+ (1080×2280 pixels) with an 19:9 aspect ratio, 2.5 curved Corning Gorilla Glass 6. It0 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC, coupled with 3GB/4GB/6GB of RAM and packs a 32GB/64GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up to 2TB via microSD card. This dual-SIM (Nano) support device runs stock Android 8.1 Oreo.

Coming to the camera department, The Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 features a dual rear camera setup, that includes a 12-megapixel primary Sony IMX486 sensor coupled with a 5-megapixel dedicated depth sensor. The rear camera setup comes with features that include EIS, 4K video recording support, and an LED flash module. Up front, it features a 13-megapixel sensor with an LED flash module.

In terms of connectivity options, this handset includes dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a Micro-USB port. Sensors on board include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, gyroscope, and a proximity sensor, with a fingerprint sensor placed on the rear panel. The Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 is fuelled by a huge 5,000mAh battery.

Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 in India is priced at Rs. 12,999 for the 3GB/32GB storage variant, the 4GB/64GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 14,999 and the 6GB/64GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 16,999. This handset will be available in Blue and Titanium colour variants.

This smartphone will be exclusively available for purchase via Flipkart from December 18. On the other hand, the Asus ZenFone Max M2 in India is priced at Rs. 9,999 for the 3GB/32GB storage variant and the 4GB/64GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 11,999. This handset will be available in Blue and Black colour variants. This smartphone will be exclusively available for purchase via Flipkart from December 20.
