Asus ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro, ZenFone 4 Selfie Launched in India: Specs, Price & More

Asus ZenFone 4 Selfie and ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro smartphones have been launched in India. The ZenFone 4 Selfie model comes in two variants, such as one with single camera in the front known as Zenfone 4 Selfie Standard or basic edition, and another variant has a dual camera setup in front. While the ZenFone 4 Selfie models are budget handsets, the ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro is a mid-range handset. While the ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro comes with a full-metal body, the ZenFone 4 Selfie dual camera version and the ZenFone 4 Selfie standard version come with metallic finish. All the three phones come with a front-mounted fingerprint scanner. From this three, the ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro comes with an unspecified version of Corning Gorilla Glass on the front.

Taking about the specifications, both the dual-SIM (Nano sims) Asus ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro and the ZenFone 4 Selfie sport 5.5-inch displays but the former packs a full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) Super AMOLED display while the latter settles for an HD (720×1280 pixels) LCD display. The ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC clocked at up to 2.0GHz coupled with 4GB of RAM. The regular ZenFone 4 Selfie is slightly under powered and is kept running by a Snapdragon 430 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM.Both the new handsets come with 64GB of internal storage, which is further expandable upto 2TB via microSD card.The ZenFone 4 Selfie dual camera version and the ZenFone 4 Selfie standard version come with three separate slots(Sim & MicroSD card), while the ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro has a hybrid slot. Both the smartphone variants run ZenUI 4.0 UI, based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat, out-of-the-box. The Asus ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro and the ZenFone 4 Selfie both are powered by a 3000mAh Battery.

Talking about the Camera,the ZenFone 4 Selfie first, as the names of the new handsets suggest, both smartphones are focused on selfies and come with dual cameras at front. The Asus ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro bears a front-facing dual camera setup with a 24-megapixel sensor and another 5-megapixel sensor. The ZenFone 4 Selfie on the other hand comes with a 20-megapixel sensor and another 8-megapixel sensor at the front of the handset. At rear end, both new Asus smartphones feature 16-megapixel primary cameras.Moving to the ZenFone 4 Selfie Standard variant with single front camera, the handset comes with a 13-megapixel sensor at front as well as back, both supports Portrait mode (Bokeh effect). The other specifications on the variant are same as the regular variant.

Moving to the connectivity options offered by the Asus ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro and the ZenFone 4 Selfie include 4G connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and Bluetooth 4.1. Both smartphones come with a fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button at front and will be offered with warranty of 2 years by the company.The ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro, in addition, supports fast charging.

Now speaking about the price in India, Asus ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro is priced atRs. 23,999, and it will be available in Sunlight Gold, Rouge Red, and Deepsea Black colour options. The ZenFone 4 Selfie with Duel camera is priced at Rs. 14,999, and colour options will be the same as that of the Pro model. On the other hand, the ZenFone 4 Selfie standard or basic version is priced atRs. 9,999, and comes in Sunlight Gold, Rose Pink, and Deepsea Black colours. All the phones will be exclusively available for buying from Flipkart starting from September 21.
