Amazon India launched another budget smartphone to its portfolio under the 10.or brand (spelt as Tenor), which is known as 10.or D. This new budget handset comes with entry-level specifications as this time the company looks to take on the likes of the recently launched Redmi 5A. 10.or D is the third phone launched this year under 10.or brand, the 10.or G and 10.or E smartphones are the previous releases. On paper, the 10.or D also comes with similar specifications such as Redmi 5A. However, to make it different, the company is offering slightly more than what the Redmi 5A does. One of the biggest additions will be a fingerprint sensor which is no present on the rival smartphone. The 10.or D also features a slightly bigger battery.

The 10.or D is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core processor Snapdragon 425 processor (Cortex A53) with Adreno 308 GPU. It will be available in two choices of RAM such as 2GB and 3GB, like the Redmi 5A. Internal storage you’ll either have an option for 16GB storage or 32GB depending upon the RAM. Coming to the camera, it comes with a 13Megapixel on the rear side and 5Megapixel front facing camera. The Smartphone comes with Android 7.1.2 Nougat out-of-the-box but comes with a few Amazon apps like Kindle and Prime Video. This device sports a 5.2-inch panel with a 720×1280 resolution. The 10.or D is fuelled by a 3,500mAH battery which the company claims can offer two day of battery life and a standby time of 10 days. One of the highlighted feature in this device is the fingerprint sensor on the back, The 10.or D is also one of the cheapest phones to sport a fingerprint scanner.
In terms of Pricing, the 10.or D is priced at Rs 4,999 for the 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage variant and Rs 5,999 for the 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The 10.or D is exclusive to Amazon India and will go on sale starting January 5 at 12pm. Registrations for the device have already begun on Amazon site.
