Bharti Airtel and Hotstar has announced a strategic partnership to bring exciting digital content from Hotstar’s library to Airtel customers. This partnership will help Airtel TV app to expand its wide range of digital content and expand the viewership for Hotstar’s content across Airtel’s large mobile customer base. With this new partnership, Airtel TV now has access to one of the largest and most exciting digital content library in India, with 350 plus LIVE TV channels and close to 10,000 popular movies and shows from India and abroad.

Hotstar’s content library containing over 100,000 hours of content, in 9 languages that includes live sports and the best of Indian cinema and TV shows from the Star network channels. This will include shows from 22 channels and over 3000 hit movies and shows. The Hotstar catalogue available to Airtel users includes popular movies and shows in Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Tamil and Telugu. In addition, customers also get access to an exciting library of sports content and LIVE matches. So, Airtel customers can now watch it for free through the Airtel TV app.

Previously, Airtel has also joined hands with all leading broadcasters and production houses to bring the best content on a single platform and offer an exciting experience to its customers. Now, all content on Airtel TV app is free for Airtel Prepaid and Postpaid customers on a promotional basis till June 2018. In order to get started, Airtel customers have to download the latest version of the Airtel TV app and enjoy the upgraded content in the app.
Other than Hotstar, Airtel had previously partnered with Amazon to offer one year of free Amazon Prime membership to its V-Fiber broadband and Airtel Infinity Postpaid customers.
