The most awaited teaser release date of Megastar Rajinikanth and Khiladi Akshay Kumar’s upcoming project ‘2.0’ is revealed. This film is much awaited coz it will feature two big stars Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth sharing screen space for the first time amd also marks the debut of Akshay in South film industry. The movie is said to be a sequel to Rajini’s 2010 blockbuster Enthiran aka Robot and Akshay will be seen as a villain in the film.
This film is buzzing around for quite some time as its release date has been postponed a couple of times, making viewers eager about this project. Also, 2.0 happens to be the most expensive Indian film being made till date. Additionally, this happens to be the first Indian film that is directly shot in 3D.
Coming to the teaser, earlier it was reported that the film’s teaser will be out for fans on August 15, Independence Day and fans were eagerly waiting. But due to the sudden Kerala floods, the makers didn’t share the teaser on August 15. The film’s director S.Shankar spoke to the Tamil website recently and said, “Rajinikanth asked me not to publish the teaser at this time when the Kerala people are in a dilemma. So, the Teaser launch ceremony was postponed.”
if reports are to be believed, the teaser release date of ‘2.0’ has been locked. The makers are planning to unveil the teaser to the fans on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi which is on September 13, 2018. However, there is no official word made regarding the teaser release date yet.
2.O is written and directed by S Shankar and produced by Lyca productions. Academy award winning music maestro AR Rahman is composing music for the film. Starring, Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson in the lead roles. The film is being shot simultaneously in Tamil and Hindi respectively.
All Rajinikanth and Akshay fans are excited to watch the first teaser on Sep 13. Let us hope it doesn’t postponed further again.
